3 common FAQ's for XenonDepot

The 3000k are a bit green-ish to me so I'm buying replacing bulbs for that set which are in my fog lights. These bulbs fit with no fitment problems at all. Direct bolt in. Both of these bulbs are working fine but after all this time they've never "burned in" to a true soft yellow color. They still are green on warm up and green tint at operating temp.
One odd thing that's happening is that I suspect is NOT an XD issue is my headlight reflector is getting a ceramic-crackle-look. You'd see this on old lamps from the old days. Maybe other types of ceramics mugs, plates, vases, or art. You know the look as having a lot of really really fine cracks in the top coat of a ceramic piece. Anyway, the reflector is starting to have this effect in one of the headlights. Maybe too hot in their or may be too much moisture. I'll never know I guess but it's likely to be problem with the OEM part not XD.

I just bought a pair of 5000k D4s bulbs for my '06 GS300, but I don't like them. I also got a pair of 5000K HID bulbs to replace the 3000k that I currently have in my fog lights. I'm looking to buy some bulbs to replace the ones I just got for my low beams. Would you suggest getting the phillips 5000K, 6000K or xenondepot 5000K? I just ask because it seems like people are saying that different bulbs have different shades, even with the same temperature.

Here are some pictures of the Xtreme D4S 5000k bulbs installed:
Our Xtreme D4S HID bulbs are made to OEM standards. 5000k will have slightly more colour than your stock 4k bulbs to maintain maximum light output. Make sure to use coupon code "CLGB08" upon checkout to save $20/bulb.
