The 4000K or 4300K kits have the most light output, but in term of the brightest, I don't know.
The question is kinda contradictory. Because the brightest light usually produce less light output. Hope I didn't get you confused.

Hello,
1) ES350 uses an H7 bulb if your vehicle has OEM halogen bulbs. This is the info I am pulling up online however I would suggest double checking your vehicle's owners manual to double check.
2) The 4300k kit will offer you the brightest possible output. In terms of colour temperature though, the higher you go in terms of colour temperature the more colour you get however the less actual useable light output you get. This is why a lot of people on this board have been going with either the 5000k or 6500k kits. This kits will offer you a nice compromise between colour and light output.

Hi,
I have a question about that after I installed your 5000K H11 XTREME HID kit on IS 250, will it pop up the computer error message?
Coz my frdz installed other brands, they got the computer error message problem
Anyone have the same problem with other brands?

Hi Steve, glad to finally come upon a Canadian vendor I'm new to the HID to Foglight conversion. Can you tell me if you know the OEM output of my 2001 ES300 w/ HID's?
I'm trying to find a good match for a foglight conversion. I believe my fogs are the H3's. Would a 4300K H3 kit be advisable for a good match? Thanks and hope to do some business soon while it's still warm enough to install them

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response however I was away on vacation so this is the first time I am seeing these questions:
1) CEOstatus0 - The kit you are interested in will wire up the same way as the kit that is being installed in the thread you have found.
2) vassey50 - Glad to be here =) OEM HID will either be a 4100k Osram bulb or 4300k Philips capsule. For the best fog light match, I would suggest going with the 5000k kit. I am also finding that your car uses an H3 bulb for the fogs.
Regards,
Steve

Do the Xtreme HID kits work equally well for projector headlights and reflector headlights? I bought the kit if you remember and then proceeded to total my SC, so I was wondering if I buy a car with reflector headlamps if I can still use the kit? Thanks.
#222
It honestly depends on the car. Generally speaking projectors work best however we have had customer install kits in reflective headlights with very positive results.
Im sorry to hear about the car.

Ok thanks. Just another question, do HID bulbs burn hotter or cooler than halogens? I think I remember reading that HID bulbs operate at a lower temperature than halogens.
Totally unrelated:
Steve,
remember how you swapped harnesses for me so I could use the 9006 bulb with the 9005 car harness? If I wanted to buy a 9006 harness from you guys (to complete a FULL 9006 kit) do you sell that and if so at what cost? Thanks.

Hello,
HID bulbs only operate on 35W so they do not burn hotter than halogen bulbs.
Yup. I remember switching the harness for you. We sell the harnesses here:

Steve,
I need to increase the length of the wiring for the positive and negative leads to the battery terminals in my new car to be able to hook up the HID system (battery is located in the trunk ). What gauge wiring should I use to lengthen the leads, and will this increase in resistance through more wiring affect the performance? Any info would help, thanks.
