Well I haven't looked YET (picking up the car today) so if there is no source up front, I will let you know for further information. I just thought I'd ask early so I could give you some time to respond just in case. I'll get back to you later today!

Steve,
There is a positive lead in the engine bay, but it too is far away (tucked in the top left corner of the engine). It also doesn't appear to have anywhere to hook up the metal rings on the end of the wiring to? It just looks like a bowl, almost like a cigarette plug. Any ideas?
Is there anyway to power up the HID using the stock headlight wiring or is absolutely necessary to use the additional wiring relays provided?

We always suggest using the supplied wiring harness. If you do a little reaseach on the board there have been many debates about whether the use of a wiring harness is necessary. From my personal experience, using a relay harness is necessary (this does depend on the car though).

Can I still get an Xtreme 4300k H11 HID kit for this price? Do I just order from the website or do I go through you, Steve?
Is there a color difference between the Philips 4300k and the Xtreme 4300k bulbs? I'm just asking because I saw a slight difference between the Osram and Philips 6000k bulbs when my friend and I compared HIDs.
Does the Xtreme 4300k H11 HID kit use rebased D2S bulbs or rebased D2R bulbs?
Thanks Steve

Which 9006 foglight kit matches the 2001 2ndGen GS OEM HID lowbeam the best? The 4300 kit?
And is this truly and plug-n-play kit, or does it require some other wiring?

Hello,
As per your questions:
1) Yes, the Xtreme 4300k kit is still available at $224.99. You can order the product direclty from the website.
2) The 4300k Philips and 4300k Xtreme are rated at the same specs so the color/light output will be the same.
3) We use D2S bulbs.
KevinGS - The kit will be plug and play. You will not be required to modify your vehicle in any way. For the best match to OEM HID I would actually go with the 5000k kit. The 5000k kit will offer you a very crisp white output.

Steve, I'm trying to match the foglights and headlights on an Acura TSX. I can't decide which H11 HID kit would match best with the TSX's OEM HIDs. The foglights are the reflector type, not the projector type.
Would 4300k or 5000k match better?

Verifying if you have HIDs
Hi Steve,
Stupid question here. Is there a way to verify whether your car has HIDs or not? On some cars it's obvious because the lights are so bright. I am not the original owner and my car's lights look fairly normal in color (white - OEM I assume) and seem like they are a little brighter than the average car, but I would like to be able to look under the hood to see for sure. I have a '02 GS.
-Thanks in advance

Took a peak. I didn't realize so much was written on them. This is what I found.
Main lights - HB4 /SAE HR 15P 96 / 30-235/HCHR-51
Fog lights - SAE F 96/ SAE / 30-231L / F-81
If I have halogen, what do you recommend and is it a fairly easy install?
-thanks. :-)
