XTREME HID CLEARANCE! - Only $249.99 While Supplies Last

Hi Guys,
Sorry about the delayed response.
Randomwalk, we did have an issue with our phone system late last week. I do apologize.
You cannot upgrade your DRL to HID as they operate on a reduced current. However, the fogs you can definitely do. The 01 LS430 uses a 9006 bulb for the fogs meaning that you would need to order a 9006 kit.
Are you familiar with colour temperature?
LEXGS02 - HB4 is a halogen bulb. HB4 is the same as 9006. For your vehicle you would need to order a 9006 HID kit.

Function & Style questions here - I am assuming if I want the light output to be uniform from both the main and fog lights it, I should do the fogs too. Otherwise, won't it look strange, and/or the mains would out-shine the fogs rendering them kinda useless? If you recommend the fogs, is it the same Extreme 9006 kit based on the fog lights specs I mentioned in my earlier post? I know this is painful but I wanna get it right. Thanks in advance...

Hello,
If you do not do the fogs there will definitely be a difference in light/colour output between the lows and fogs. However, thats not to say that everyone that does the low beams does the fogs as well. Your fogs housings are also designed to light up areas where the low beams will not regardless of how bright your low are. From a functionality/syle standpoint though there is no question that upgrading both will look great and dramatically enhance your vehicle's lighting. Your fogs use the same 9006 fitment.

retrofit+ HID kit
Steve,
I have a 92 SC and I'm trying to retrofit an Audi A4 projectors, it utilizes an H7 non HID bulb. I want to make it an HID. Should I go for you 9006 HID kit for SC? Will that fit?
Anyone please help.
Thanks.

I would suggest ordering an H7 kit. Send me an email once you place your order and I will swap out the H7 harness for a 9006 harness. This way the kit that you get will have H7 bulbs to fit the headlights and the wiring harness will have 9006 connectors to mate up with your vehicle's stock 9006 wiring.

Yup! those kits were discontinued months ago as those ballasts are no longer available from Philips for HID conversion kits.
Philips ballasts are great for OEM HID applications however they are also designed for OEM HID applications. In OEM HID applications the ballasts are usually encased within the headlight protecting them from water damage. In aftermarket HID applications the ballast is usually mounted outside the headlight where it is susceptible to weather damage.
I would suggest looking into the Xtreme kits. The Xtreme ballasts are specifically designed for this application as they are epoxy sealed making them water tight.
