Steve, maybe you can help me. I am trying to decide a color for my car, but do not really see the difference between the kits. What is the difference between bright and crisp white (5000k/4000k) ? Also, I see that the 6500k is called an intense purple, but when I see the picture of the gs, it doesn't look too purple. I was also wondering how a 9006 4300k would look compared to all of these. If you could post pics and clarify the differences, it would be great.

GSE25,
Great Pic! That pic was taken recently at the Tokyo Auto Salon. Speedstar is our dealer here in Toronto Canada.
Fireblaze, That pretty much will give you an idea of what to expect in terms of colour. The 5000k kit will have a bright white output with a very slight bluish tinge thus making it look "crisp." The 4000k will have a very bright white output with a slight yellowish tinge (similar to the 4300k Philips capsule).

i went and ordered the 3000k 9006 kit!
I was so excited by the awesome price you guys have it for!
but when I went back to look at my receipt, I just realized that the price on my reciept is 289 instead of the 224 as advertised . . .
what happened?

Someone help me please...
I have XexonDepot 6000K for my low-beam and now looking to get some HID for my fog.
I can't drop another $400 on the fog, so I'm very interested in the Extreme line. Moreover, since the fog is a reflector style and not the projector like the low-beam, I have a feeling that if I put the same temp (6000K) lamp for my fog, my fog light will be brighter and over-power my low-beam and I don't want that. I want my fog to be HID, but at the same time less bright than my low-beam.
Therefore, I came to an conclusion that the Exteme 4000K or 5000K will be perfect for my fog. I know the color is going to be slightly different between the low-beam and fog. But, I can't decide to buy either a 4000K or 5000K because I don't know which one will compliment my low-beam 6000K. Plus, the Extreme line is half the price of the XexnonDepot. For the purpose of the fog, I think the Extreme line suits it better.
So, please help me deciding which one will be compliment my 6000K.
Extreme HID 4000K or 5000K?
Thank in advance!

I am ready to buy the 5000K 9600 low beams, and 3000K H3 foglights for my Sc 300, but was wondering if there is a problem with putting two kits on the car... thank you
