if I turn on the headlight and turn it off, let's say at a gas station, the driver side bulb refuses to fire up again even after turning on and off 20+ times.
it will always light up the FIRST time of the day. I will swap the driver and passenger side bulbs to see if it's the bulb that's defective.

confirmed, the bulb is defective. Just ordered new replacement bulb.
