Blew a headlight fuse and killed a McCulloch ballast, just ordered a 5000k kit, thank god you guys have a relay with it (probably reason I blew a fuse)! Can't wait to get my hands on it and finally see in the dark again!

so the h11 kit comes with everything including the bulbs? if so, why are people paying extra for the D4S bulbs?

I believe the D4S bulbs are for people with stock HID's who wants a different output than stock 4300k.

Rather than buying a kit, they can swap out the bulb and keep their OEM with AFS.

Correct me if I am wrong, not a 100% sure if thats the case.

Sexy kit! Got my kit super fast, like two days after I ordered it online. Wiring harness provided is awesome, found a way to hide the entire thing so it looks like it's stock. Great product! Wish it had better zip ties though =P, those things snap easily.

hihi410 whatever you do, please make sure you mount it securely so it doesn't come loose and rest against a pulley while you drive around for 2 weeks and then open your hood to find that your pulley pretty much rubbed through the metal housing, the injected rubber, and killed the circuitry inside because that would not be good for the ballast.

ask me how I know!

also - extreme99 - the offer was an introductory offer but CL members can still enjoy a nice discount. the flashlights are still discounted - don't you have one of ours?

I mounted it in the bumper behind the bumper support. I ran the harness along with the stock harness zip tied to it, and power is attached to a power source going to the fuse box next to the battery. There's a very nice point that uses the same O ring and basically you can just follow the stock harness, only thing that sticks out is the fuse for the harness. I'll get some pictures when I adjust my headlights soon.

$170 for a HID flashlight?! Dam I'm so buying one.

i got them from mobileHID and I cannot be happier. 9006 3000K kit for my fogs. I installed the ballast behind the metal bumper thing using putty like substance from the dynomat (i know its ghetto) and then zip tied it. I didn't know how to route the wire easily to the driver side so i sent the line through the metal bumper (you'll know when you take off the bumper). The only thing I had to supply that was not in the box is a 3ft ground wire. After everything was installed, the ground wire was the only thing too short to complete the installation so i tied it to another ground wire and plugged it into the battery. Overall, very easy installation for the HID but complicated to take off and put back on the bumper. Thanks again cliff.

Someone please post a DIY in the 2IS section. Also want to see what bulb color most are going with that will match the best with the OEM HID bulb.

hihi410 are you up for a DIY??

Thanks!
