cool thanks for the test joe and phil

so my guesses was right, the stock calipers on the is350 are actually bigger than the brembo calipers, but the overall diameter setup of the is-f brakes are too big (0.2" too big) for the 18s.

so now it's about getting wheels + brakes? lol

also, on a side note, looking at the pictures, seems like the front rotors vanes are directional inside? if so, it's really odd that the left and right rotors are the same part number

No Problem....

I wouldn't say the the OEM IS350 Monoblock caliper is bigger than the IS-F... I would say its a over a few milimeters thicker or wider from east to west..
Thats why the IS-F wheel doesn't clear the IS350 caliper.

Now when you look at the IS-F Caliper it is much bigger, however over a few milimeters smaller (again just east to west) and more narrow compared to the IS350.
^^ The stock 18" wheel clears the front side of the caliper, but not the outer side of the caliper.. its huge...

The Rotors are the same part number, so I would say the inside are the same on both side for sure.. Too me it looked directional... But I did not spend a lot of time on this.. Also, we had no reason to take off the passenger side...

Brackets for the 1SC would be a great idea as it'll also fit the LS and Supra.

yes i meant the thickness of the calipers. that's the key when it comes down to clearing wheels anyway. having the caliper longer doesn't affect anything

and the is350 18s don't clear the is-f brakes mainly coz' of the rotor size being so pic, pushing out the caliper. the caliper dimension in that sense is probably more or less the same as the is350 oem

personally i have no idea why the 2is, 3gs, and 4ls stock calipers are so big. the pads isn't that big inside

post #75? i think it's been proven that the stock 18s won't fit over the brakes.

there are some aftermarket 18s that will fit, but might as well get larger wheels imho

I promise you if you make a bracket for the SC300/ SC400 / MKIV Supra the supra guys will buy these like mad.

Count me in for a set of fronts as soon as the bracket is ready. I will even test fit for you if you would like me 2.

Luis

It was nice meeting you this weekend. I can't wait to see you guys move into that new behemoth of a building!

Please let us know about the brackets that you mentioned ASAP. I am on board once the brackets are availble and the price is available. If you can guarantee the brackets will be available, i may order ahead of time.

Today I called Sewell Lexus and after they did the test on these ISF BBK they told me that it would not fit the 18inch 5 spokes GS wheels unless there is a spacer put in between but they told me since they do not carry those spacer they do not know how thick the spacer have to be. Is there anyone know the answer for this question? please let me know thanks.

spacers? that seems to be quite contradicting to the is350 case
