I received mine in a few days, super fast shipping Cliff

It's charging right now and this suits my needs in a flashlight, it's more then enough. Quality looks good, weighted nicely.

I'll give it a try tonight, Thanks again!

How long do you need to charge it for. I charged it for about 8 hours. When i turn it on it flickers. Do i need to charge it longer?

It seems like if you leave it on long enough in that spot, the wall is gonna catch on fire, lol.

Also, I'm pretty sure they sell a lot of the parts of this flash light separately. So if a certain piece breaks, it may be possible to just buy that piece.

all the way at the bottom it has a bunch of spare parts you can buy.

I charged mine overnight, on the charger itself there's a small light. It flashes red when charging then green and your ready to go.

This light is intense, I now have my very own searchlight

I don't think you're supposed to leave it charging for that long. Once the light turns green... remove it.

Just ordered mine! I plan on getting a "steam locomotive sounds" CD and sitting outside people's homes in the summertime blasting the CD and flashing this light in their windows.

It was an overnight charge, took it off in the morning.

LOL! On a related note, this would be a great carry light in the car.

Can't believe I didn't meet you at Toyotafest. =(

Used to play with these when I worked at a HID shop. Went around outside waving em in the air like giant lightsabers...left one on accidently overnight facedown on top of a cardboard box, made a giant hole next morning... surprised the box didn't catch fire...

Definately a good deal, our HID shop sold them for $250...

Oh man! Baoser, I think I saw your car during the day but nobody was around. I'll be out there next weekend and the last weekend of the month to attend the Lexus Ultimate event. Maybe I'll see you there?

Overclocker - yep, I have mine sitting next to the door sill in my driver's side footwell. I flipped the carpet up on the edge to keep it from sliding under the brake pedal and haven't had a problem having it sit there for the past year plus.

As an emergency light in the house, it works well in a power outage because you can just turn it on and light up the ceiling which provides a nice glow in a 20x20 room.

Steve- glad you like the light man! I can't wait to check out your newly revamped dealership. JavyLSU tells me it's humongous now.

Dave, thanks for the order, yours will be shipped out shortly.

Car-lost - thanks for chiming in man. Yep, pretty much ANY part that fits on the AE Light will fit with these because these are essentially unbranded AE Lights without the extra fluffy rubber rings and inflated price tag. I personally picked up the diffuser which helps dumb down the long throw of the light to more of a flood.

Thanks all.
