I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you this past weekend at ToyotaFest. During the weekend some CL members asked for a group buy on HID flashlights so here you all go.

Pre-focused 8 degree spot beam that enables the beam to open up and allow you to see more up close. A nice improvement because the old flashlight was 4 degrees.

Battery charger: 120v w/automatic over charge protection, 2 hour charge.

These HID flashlights are powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which can provide ~1.5 hours of light on a full charge. The internal lithium-ion battery can sit for MONTHS at a low self-discharge rate of approximately 5% per month, compared with over 30% per month in nickel metal hydride batteries and 10% per month in nickel cadmium batteries and still perform when needed. This level of performance makes lithium-ion batteries more and more popular with the defense and aerospace industries.
Advantages of lithium-ion batteries:
* One of the best energy-to-weight ratios
* No memory effect
* Slow loss of charge when not in use
* Life span of 500+ charges
