You do have to call in for SL2Vi orders, there are 7 different packages SL2Vi can come with, depending on your vehicle sound package, we want to make sure you get the right package and phone orders make it easier.

Unfortunately SLi can not be upgraded to the SL2Vi.

We don't know when we will have a chance to test SL2Vi with IS300 with Nav, but it'll be added to the application guide just as soon as we know that it works.
SL2i is our newer generation unit, so we did improve a few things including the sound quality.

Do you still have to manually turn the Ipod on and off? Or are you able to use the controls on the steering wheel or the head unit?

All of our iPod integration units do not require iPod to be manually turned ON or OFF. Unless you use it in SIMPLE mode.
