I'm about to have the SL2Vi installed next week by a shop. I just want to know will the Iphone 3G adapter be just plug n play to the existing cable or will the existing cable have to be replaced completely with a new cable and have to be reinstalled? I'm referring to the SL2Vi with Pkg#4

Do i just need to Cut the PINK wire located on connector J50 and the WHITE (with silver paint) wire on connector P1....to get video while in motion with the sl2vi itegration kit for the ipod....

Yeah it will definitely still work for videos & music, just no charging as of yet. I just hope it won't be too long until they come out with the cable or adapter.

Hey its Pat, I just installed the sound linq2 and its awesome. Just wanted to say thanks.
For the peeps from Canada...these guys give awesome service; I called to place the order and they shipped it that same day within hours...a tracking number was also emailed within minutes. There were also no CUSTOM CHARGES either. Well worth the money!

So, I installed the SL2VI and I am diggin it...but....I cant seem to play videos with my iPhone (1st Gen). I can get the dvd screen, but only audio from the video playing on the iPhone plays through the speakers. And I am in park.
Any ideas?
