I put mine in the cigarette lighter hole. I took that piece out and drilled and filed a small piece to fit the adapter through.

ok, order has been placed for SL2Vi Video Adaptor. Mike was the one who took my order and he said that I would need package 3 for my car with factory nav (no ML)?? I thought package 1 was required for ISx50 with factory nav (no ML).

i thought it was package 1.. until i ordered and they confrimed it should be package 3.. for factory nav.. no ML

i also thought it was package 1 for IS350, non ML, but they gave me package 3. they confirmed that package 3 will in fact work

I have package 3, which emulation mode did you guys use? and do you guys have pix of how you guys tuck the wires?

I just did the install and the video mode worked but the mp3/ipod music did not display playlist or folders or song names. can someone help please?

did you activate all the emulation modes? I went through theinstruction booklet and activated each one ( both switches up, than right swtich up, vice versa) It took some time to load all the folders and songs but it worked fine after. Make sure you are not in dvd mode either! PM me if you need anything else

more questions, the folder n' playlist shows but now the dvd part.

When i want to watch movie, i have to go through my ipod to switch from music to video. can i do that on the navi screen and not the ipod? also, if i want to turn off the ipod, do i just turn off the car or do i have to turn off the ipod from the ipod?

I think when the car is turned off the iPod will be in pause mode and then it will shut off. At least that's what my other iPod kits have done in previous cars.

I'm not sure about the movie thing.
