If you install SLU and use just a regular RCA to 3.5mm jack to connect to your iPod then it will not charge it. But if you add iPod cable from SLI to your SLU then it will charge your iPod.

But again, how do I go about getting the complete system? I can order the SLU at your website, but no where do I see an option to purchase the SLI harness. How do I go about purchasing it and how much does it got for? Can you give me the direct link to it?

does the ipod shut off when the car is off or do you have to turn it off manually?

Do you have the pricing set for the MultiMediaLinQ - MP3 by chance? I looked at the site, but did not see that. Also, what kind of hookups are available for hard drives? For example, could I hook up a laptop hard drive?
