Received the Black Pearl emblems a couple hours ago. I will post teaser pics soon.
However, one problem I noticed is that the L emblems have fine scratches on the flat surfaces and scuff marks on the edges. It is noticeable only in direct light with the emblems in your face. The word "Lexus" and "IS350" badges seem to be pretty good and without any scratches.
Sewell, is this normal? I will try and post pics to illustrate this.

Damn Fedex came here at like 3:30pm today when I wasn't home and my apt building manager happened to step out right at before he came so now I don't have them and will have to wait till Sept 2nd for them to arrive!! Kind of upset about it but oh wellz.....

I haven't received mine yet, but I was wondering if everybody's emblem
is good / no scratches..I just don't want to ship it back and wait few mored days to receive a new one..

I just picked my emblems up from Fedex. Happy that they were open on Saturday for pick up. Nehoo I just finished installing them and it looks good. I didn't see any scratches on mine and they were in perfect condition. I will post photos later when I get my digital camera from my GF's car.

I agree that they look more like painted black emblems then the black pearl when you look at Javy's post. I like them better, black, as your pics post. Vik those scratches look like they may be from shipping and the parts rubbing against each other? You can always hit it with paint if you wanted??
