I was also wondering what kind of power the 4.3L with the 5.0L stroker crank make at the wheels? It would mostly be used for street but would also like to race it on the weekends. And don't you have a twin turbo kit for our V8's?

Well it would be partly daily driver, and the motors I would be interested in is the 5.0 and 5.7 stroker. Also I have a 99 LS400 so I dont know if that makes a difference with these motors. Do you guys also do built tranys? With this type of power you would be lucky to have the trany last one day hopefully you have an option that can contain these beasty motors. Just want something along the lines of a lexus version of an amg 63.

The 99 LS400 falls directly in line with the motors that we specialize in. With the LS400 motor and stroker, you have a final displacement of 4.7L. Swap over to an iron block 2uzfe VVt-I, and you have a whopping 5.4L. We can go as high as 5.65L, but that's a race only application. We don't build tranny's, but we know of a few good and reputable companies that do. They work with the Toyota auto tranny to help withstand repeatd 700HP use.
A couple quick questions:
How aggressive do you want your motor?
What's your final HP goals?
What displacement are you looking for?
Thanks again,
Eric

that 4.9L na how much HP does that come to the wheels of a 98 lexus gs400
because my motor is overboard to 4.5L and all my internals are forged im waiting for my custom headers. it also has no cats and resonaters pulling close to 400hp to the rear wheels ,my car looks like ***** but i can kill new 05-09 mustangs v8 and camaros. and basically keep up wid vettes on the freeway

300/315 hp/tq is a good starting point, but of course as a displacement goes up and the cam profile becaomes more aggressive, the HP goes up as well. You could be looking at 450HP on an aggressive 4.0L, and much much more on high strung 5.5L iron block. Just depends on where you want to be HP wise.
Shipping of course depends on who is used for transport, but for reference we just had a small aluminum V6 motor come in from Rhode Island that was $250 shipping. Figure between that and $350 shipping to NY for a V8.
Thanks!

cOwboy,
Is this long block from the 4.7 engine block? I notice the coolant outlet is shaped differently than on the 4.0 &4.3 motor.
How much would this run w/ the 5.0 stroker crank added. and do you feel the stock ECU would handle the fuel needs?

Right, that happens to be the 4.7L longblock. The owner is running NA and he doesn't have to traverse a set of turbos so we left the stock waterneck. On turbo motor we cut them down. The stroker option adds $6300 to the final bill. The stock computer can stay, but it's always good to have external fuel trim controls by way of a piggy back of sorts whether it's the S-AFC, Map-ECU, or HKS V-Pro.
Thanks!
