Right, that happens to be the 4.7L longblock. The owner is running NA and he doesn't have to traverse a set of turbos so we left the stock waterneck. On turbo motor we cut them down. The stroker option adds $6300 to the final bill. The stock computer can stay, but it's always good to have external fuel trim controls by way of a piggy back of sorts whether it's the S-AFC, Map-ECU, or HKS V-Pro.
Thanks!

Thanks for the the info.. One more thing, do you feel the the stock injectors on the GS400/430 is adequate for the jump to 5.0?

You'd have to turn the pressure up and trim out the idle, but honestly injectors are cheap so it'd be a great idea to switch over to something with a higher rating and trim it out.

Cowboy, I'd love some sources of tranmissions places that are familiar with the Toyota units.
I'd PM you, but it appears that is turned off on your profile?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Can't PM you, Cowboy... What's up with that? Anyway, I can ask my question here: is there a more mild approach (read: inexpensive) to a vvti 1-uz motor you can offer? I'd like about 375whp daily driven, so after bolt-ons, I'd only need about 75 horsepower from your services. Thoughts? I too want a M5/CL63AMG type-car without being close to a 5 digit price tag to upgrade to it.

Yeah, my PMs have been disabled by so if you have any questions feel free to ask openly. It sounds like you will need a cam upgrade and some tuning if all you're looking for is 375rwhp, and you will have all of the bolt ons. It's a lot less $ than a full build and you can keep your original motor in your car. If you're looking for something on the mild side, I'd say that's a good way to go. Figure ~$1800 for the set of 4.
Thanks!
