wow i just saw my refund in shipping as well. what a great service sewell! my lip arrived this past weekend too, and i have yet to open the box.

I just installed mine! it took like 30 minutes to do and it looks great!!

yea i installed mine as well!...the hardest part was just figuring out how to take the lip off the tabs...i just ripped on it and it came off!

 

i need to carry the lip home for installation,

anyone tried to put the lip into the IS?

 

Just curious did anybody else's lip show up like this?? There is a small gash in the front lip it's hard to tell from the photos.

answer my own question, yes , it fit in the IS

mine is smaller than yours, at the same location too. But I cant notice it from far away, so i am ok with it.

 

yours didnt come in a box? I think most of ours came in a box and the lip was wrapped up in brown paper. Mine had no problems, I'd call or email sewell though, sorry bout your gash

 

all mine came in a lexus box, i had a small gash on my rear gfx from the gb, ididnt notice it when it was on the car. so w.e iunno, maybe urs was painted since ur color wasnt in stock. but should of came in a box

 

Nope no box it was only warped in the white foam stuff.

Yea i paid 150.00 to have it painted so that is what kind of bums me out if i paid 63 bucks like most of the guys here i would be okay with it but oh well i emailed Sewell so we will see what they say hopefully they can just send me out some touch up paint and it would be all good.

 

i guess i should ask for a touch up paint as well....

 

ya thats prob why, just tell one of the reps to send some touch up paint since it was scratch druing shipping. good luck
