what plugs? the plugs from this kit?? The kit should plug into the back of the radio right? Every car I have done this on it was always PNP right behind the radio and I dont believe the Navi unit was there also? But its been a while. I want to say they where under the seat in the car but I could be wrong.

Let the experts that make this kit chime in and tell us where you need to tap into! You would need one heck of a long extension for a PNP kit to run it to the radio...from your trunk.

trust me. i have a similar unit hooked up right now to my navi unit in the trunk. i know some cars have it in the dash, which makes it a lot easier. it was a huge PITA getting the wiring through (switch, power).

yes it was worth it but if this unit had come out earlier i'd be happier since i could've just plugged it in instead of lining up prongs i still might get this if it gets over 41 just for the cleaner wiring

After thinking about that for a while count me out also. Sorry its nice to see this stuff but I really am wanting to make it accessible through the NAV instead of a manual switch.

if you really think about it you do need the switch otherwise how would you toggle the navigation and your video input? i don't know any manufacturer that makes the switch integrated into the navigation control buttons, as nice as that would be

This is normal for this, even if you went to a custom stereo shop you would have this switch to go from navi to TV/DVD display. Trust me its a nice and easy feature and you can hide the switch anywhere. I always had them under the dash on the drivers side so you couldnt see it.
