I have a 2006 RX 400h.
Adaptive Xenon lights on low beam.

I am interested in Xenon fog lights.
HID high beam to match xenon low beam

I am also intersted in led license plate bulbs, and front and rear side marker bulbs.

Can you help?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

As per your email:

1) Your vehicle uses a 9006 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to get a 9006 HID conversion kit.

2) I would suggest going with a 9006 4300k HID Kit to best match your OEM HID low beams. The item you would need to get would be XT-4K-9006

3) I would not suggest upgrading your high beams to HID for 2 reasons:

- HID bulbs take a moment to fully ignite and reach their desired light output. In situations where you need to flash someone your HID high beams would not be very functional.

- It is strenuous on the components to be turned on/off repeatedly ie: flashing people.

You can however use our Putco performance halogen bulbs to give your high beam a crisper color output.

Default Xenon Depot Xtreme HID 6500k

Hi Steve. I just wanted to thank you for all your help with my lighting questions. It was a pleasure dealing with you. You were a big help in my lighting research. Everything worked out really well and I am enjoying my set of Xtreme HID 6500k.

Below are my pictures of how the Xtreme HID 6500k installed.

Pic 1 – inside view with fog lights on
Pic 2 – font view
Pic 3 – Close up of the right side
Pic 4 – Close up of just the fog light
Pic 5 – Profile view.

Overall I am very satisfied with the Xenon HID kit. The customer service by Steve at Xenon Depot is A+. I highly recommend anyone who wants to mod/ upgrade the lights to contact Steve and he will definitely take care of you.

Thank you Steve and Xenon Depot !!!

Hey Funnie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post some feedback. It was a pleasure working with you as well.

I am glad to hear (and see) that you are happy with the results! The 6500k HID Kit really looks great in the IS fog lights.

Enjoy my friend!

Is there an LED bulb for the DRL (high beam) on a '08 RX350? I believe it's 9005.

funnie, your XenonDepot HID's are only in your fogs correct? and Garax for your low beams (reading from your signature). Looks good. What are you using for Parking Light?

Veleno,

You can get LED bulbs for the high beam 9005 bulb however the light output will be very minimal. If you are looking for something whiter than stock I would suggest taking a look at our Putco performance halogen bulbs:

Just wanted to thank Steve for the quick and helpful customer service in helping me with my xtreme kit purchase. I'll be installing this weekend, can't wait!

Quick (and possibly silly) question, will keeping my low beams in 'auto' mode shorten the lifespan of the kit? i keep my car in a garage and also use a parking garage for work, so in a given day my low beams will automatically turn on/off 4-5 times a day. Is it better to just turn them on manually when I need it?

yo silentbob, i have my lights on manual. I don't like to risk the d4s bulbs from going out because the lights keep going on n off just cause u go in a tunnel or dark parking structure.

My pleasure bud! Thank you for taking the time to post feedback on the board.

I would suggest leaving them on manual. However, having the lights turn on/off 4-5 times a day really will not do much.

Steve
