a question
so do I need to purchase both Volt HID Digital+ HID Conversion Kits
in order to upgrade my Fogs to HID??
and the price for both is 119??
and I see the chart, but uh..what's the BIG difference between
Volt and Xtreme HID?
is one brighter than the other?
just wanted to make sure before I purchase

For my MY2008 LexusIS250, which kit would I need to upgrade my foglamps?

Hi Guys,
As per your posts:
1) If you wanted to upgrade both your low beams and fogs you would need to purchase two kits - one for each.
2) There are 3 main differences between the Xtreme kit and the Volt kit:
- Country of manufacture.
- The Xtreme kits come with a relay harness.
- The Xtreme kits double layered Philips quartz glass that is made in Germany.
3) papaalex - that is correct. The Volt ballasts plug right into your vehicle's OEM harness.
4) The CL promo code will work on the Xtreme kits to bring the price down to $174.99. There is no coupon code necessary to purchase the Volt kit at $119.99 =)
5) The IS250 uses an H11 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order the kit in the H11 fitment.

Hi,
You really cannot go wrong with either kit. It is a question of what your budget is like and whether you want a relay harness or not. If you do not want to spend $175 on an HID kit and do not want a relay harness I would suggest going with the Volt kit.
If you don't mind spending a little more money on a kit that comes with a relay harness and Japanese components then go for the Xtreme kit.
One way or another though, I will reiterate that from a quality standpoint you cannot go wrong with the Volt kit. We wouldn't put our name on it or stand behind the product if we felt that the product was not up to our standards.
The 01 GS uses a 9006 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order a 9006 6500k HID conversion kit found on this page:
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme_Dig...s_p/xt-65k.htm
You would need to select item number "XT-65K-9006"
Don't forget to use "CL" as the coupon code to save $25.
