I got the kits today. I suspect the package was opened at customs (the original shipping wrapper was cut at the end and re-taped), hence the delay? Anyway, I have both kits and will look to install them soon.

Just got some pictures of our 9006 5000k Xtreme HID kit installed in a 2010 Toyota Corolla. This customer also installed our Putco Jet Yellow halogen bulbs in the fog lights and high beams.

Hi,
You really cannot go wrong with either kit. It is a question of what your budget is like and whether you want a relay harness or not. If you do not want to spend $175 on an HID kit and do not want a relay harness I would suggest going with the Volt kit.
If you don't mind spending a little more money on a kit that comes with a relay harness and Japanese components then go for the Xtreme kit.
One way or another though, I will reiterate that from a quality standpoint you cannot go wrong with the Volt kit. We wouldn't put our name on it or stand behind the product if we felt that the product was not up to our standards.
The 01 GS uses a 9006 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order a 9006 6500k HID conversion kit found on this page:
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme_Dig...s_p/xt-65k.htm
You would need to select item number "XT-65K-9006"
Don't forget to use "CL" as the coupon code to save $25.

The Volt kit without the harness - does it cause any problems with the IS250?

Hi Guys,
As per your posts:
1) chikoo - Every so often (quite often) we hold contests in which customers can win Free HID kits. The relay harness ensure that the ballasts receive a constant 12V as power is being drawn directly from the battery. Our ballasts are low draw so you can safely power them right from the OEM wiring without damaging your OE wiring however if you run into issues where a ballast does not ignite on occasion a relay harness will fix that problem.
2) Snubbles - Will check shortly.
3) redrocks - Glad to hear it bud!!! IF you take any pictures please post them up. I would love to see the results. You are never going to be able to get a perfect match however I would go with the Putco Mirror White halogen bulbs. They are rated at approximately 4000k.
