i leave the switch on 24/7, so when i start the car, the lights always come on. they turn off again when i hit the lock button on my keyfob twice. this is the 3rd set i bought from you guys and the 2nd kit did the same thing.

Hi Steve, I received the extreme kit and got it installed. Overall, I am pleased. The wiring harnesses, connectors and the ballasts are of quality. I like how there is an actual plug to the oem harness and not just spade connectors. The light output on the 5000K bulb is amazing! I never knew how yellow the stock ones were until now.

The only concern that I have is the constant buzz emitting from both ballasts. Is this normal? It gets really annoying.

 

xpionage2 - Glad to hear you are enjoying your Xtreme HID kit! To answer your question YES the buzzing is completely normal - an electrical ballast is a device intended to limit the amount of current in an electric circuit so buzzing/humming is a normal characteristic.

If you ever get around to snapping some night time shots of the HID's in action post them up
