Mains 6,500k D4S
Fogs 9006 HID conversion kit at 6,500K
I love the fogs, so sexy but the mains are not the same color as the Fogs. I mean are they suppose to all match? The
balance on the mains are off a tad but I am not that picky. I also notice the mains are the same color as my factory as shown in the picture below
(4,300k) but are a lot bright and reach father.
Bottom line:
Recommend Fog HID conversion kit
Main lights....sure why not...;/

Did anyone get HID for their Es300 1992-1996?? If so is it safe to use HID in our OEM halogen projectors?? Also is there a significant difference in light output?? I recently got some zXe sylvania lights from autozone. They are bright but i was wondering if HID are brighter.

WIZARD1325 - Thanks for clarifying. I was concerned, because they certainly didn't look like 6k.
ES300CTY - You would need to order a 9006 HID kit to upgrade the low beams on your vehicle. These bulbs will not burn significantly hotter then your halogen bulbs, so you do not need to worry about damaging your headlights.
For the brightest possible output, I would suggest going with 4300k - as the higher you go in terms of colour temperature, the less actual useable light output you get.
