Well, referencing the F-Sport website, the F-Sport brakes had an averaging stopping distance of 110 feet. During our tests, we consistently had stopping distances less than 100 feet. Stock brakes had distances of 119 feet. This equates to the Brembo brakes from the IS-F being installed on an IS350 becomes comparable to higher end Porsche models - even Ferrari.
Stock 60-0 mph average distance - 122.8 feet (referenced from the F-Sport website)
F-Sport 60-0 mph average distance - 110.8 feet (referenced from the F-Sport website)
IS-F Brembo Brakes 60-0 mph average distance - 97.2 feet (testing by Sewell - Peter and Darrel and Master tech, Scott)
While I believe it is clear to all, I'm sure our testing consistency to that of the testing controls implemented by TRD could be argued, I remain very confident in our figures with clearly stating by equipping your IS250 or IS350 with the Brembo brakes from the IS-F, the stopping distance from 60-0 mpg will be less than 100 feet. Our best distance was 93 feet and our worst was 103 feet.

So even if the swap is easy and everything runs smooth, if you have the stock, staggered 18" wheels, this brake kit will not fit. So, not only will you need the $4000 brakes, but also a wheel upgrade. Sounds like they work pretty well though and the prices seem very decent.

For the tires, we used the staggered Michelin Pilot Sport (88Y) from the F-Sport lineup. 225/35ZR19 on the front and 255/35ZR19 for the rears.
It would have been nice if I had a F-Sport equipped IS at the time we ran these tests to get a one-on-one comparison. Same tires against two different brake set-ups.
Our Southern Area district rep has the F-Sport brakes on his IS350 so I think we'll be borrowing his car the next time he's in town for a good 'ole fashion
shoot out!
The 18" factory weren't even close to fitting. The Brembo brakes from the IS-F are just way too big to allow the 18" wheel to slide over them to mount to the hub.

BTW, do you know the cost of the pad and rotor replacements for both BBKs?

Here is an idea...
I agree for sure the 18x8" Split 5 spoke wheel did not fit up front on an IS-F due to caliper size.
But when I tested the 18x8.5” Split 5 spoke wheel in the rear it fit and cleared the rear IS-F caliper.
We have also received a report here on CL that the Lexus 18” ISP Mode wheel(s) clear the brakes. Not sure which size was used to clear Front & Rear, but it was for a winter tire set up on an IS-F
This would be a good opportunity for you guys to take every available 18" or 19" Lexus IS Model (Standard or Optional) Wheel you have on hand (staggered and/or non-staggered) and test the front and rear caliper clearances accordingly on your IS350 with IS-F Brakes.
Again just an idea..

The BBK from the IS350 includes two front rotors, two front 4-piston brake calipers, the brake pads (plus shims and hardware) and the splash guards. This kit can be found here.
For those of you who would rather purchase the this exact kit less the rotors, then go here. Since this kit doesn't have the brake rotors, it gives you the opportunity to get a slotted and/or drilled rotor of your choosing.

Out of curiosity, is there any way someone could order the calipers, hardware, shim kit, and splash shields only... This way someone could order drilled rotors and use a different brake pad as well.
Second question, if i were to purchase the IS350 caliper kit, minus the rotors, would it be possible to get the tsib dustless brake pads, rather than the normal pads? Thanks
