We are proud to announce the availability of our Lexus IS-F v2 ECU/TCU tuning. In order to get things started we traditionally offer a reduced Group Purchase rate to members of the forum/website we “work with” when bringing a new product to market.
Here are the results from our v2 ECU/TCU (CDT) tuning v a 100% stock IS-F provided by “Juanca” our objective tester. All pre/post tune testing was done in 6th gear (1:1) on the same Dyno Jet using the same operator and procedure in order to eliminate as many variables as possible.
Stock v V1 v v2 ECU/TCU Tuning:

v1 v v2 A/F Comparison, please note these are tailpipe A/F readings, at the 02 they are .7-1.0 richer:
![](http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r206/Fourcam330/dkasperISFv1v2.jpg)
As is evident from the graph there was little to gain in leaning the A/F out (other than WOT fuel economy lol) and adding a few degrees more timing.
The final v2 cal (which is available presently) will incorporate the best of both versions. An ECU cal based on v1 ECU tuning (with a bit of v2 mixed in) paired with v2 TCU tuning that has significantly better drivabilty characterstics in automatic mode than v1, including instant downshifts and quicker overall WOT shifts (with no deterioration in smoothness). Shifts in manual mode are also a tad quicker, and still just as smooth as with v1 tuning.
5th gear run showing raised shift points (6800rpm vs. 6600rpm via v2 TCU Tuning) in gears 1-5 for cars with non raised speed limiter:

V2 Complete Driveline Tuning for Lexus IS-Fs lists at $3900, the GP price for the first ten ECU/TCU customers is $3200 including free overnight return shipping and a drop-in K&N filter. If we hit 20 or 30 customers there will be additional discounts given to all participants.
We've modified pricing to reflect the fact that the stock (ECU anyway) calibration is rather hot until ~5000rpm, and of course the present state of our economy.
Minimum 10 customer GP: $3200 ECU/TCU
Minimum 20 customer GP: $2990 ECU/TCU
Minimum 30 customer GP: $2790 ECU/TCU
List ECU only is $1900, GP ECU only: $1500
List TCU only is $2300, GP TCU only: $1900
ECU and TCU only tuning pricing is fixed regardless of the number of customers. Drop-in filter is only including with CDT (both ECU/TCU), for ECU or TCU only cost is $45.00 shipped in the U.S.

We can tune all Lexus models including hybrids.
Thanks stash. I have a sneaking suspicion that the gains will get significantly better with a full exhaust. Like the E90-92 M3s, there is good power (21rwhp/18rwtq) in a tune, but nothing like what's leftover on the 63 AMGs.
Yes, Juan will be racing on a 1/4 mile track, as will another IS-F owner with our ECU/TCU Tuning and drag radials.
As stated above, we can tune any Lexus/Toyotas. However I don't see the gains being huge for a 250, maybe a legit 10rw. Drivability at part throttle and shifting are things we can improve on immensely though.
Sounds good.![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Your dealer doesn't have the ability to see the changes we make to the OEM coding, it would take a Toyota/Lexus rep flying out with a special tool to do so. Otherwise, the best advice I can give is to become friendly with your service manager--regardless of the make or model of vehicle you own.
Yes, we are doing just ECU and just TCU as well. Keep in mind that the raised shift points via TCU tuning eliminate the final shift just before the 1/4 stripe, which should eliminate a good bit of ET/Trap in and of itself.
Thanks!
Andy
