You do need SL2Vi to integrate iPod into your audio system and be able to watch video from your iPod. But it won't play video while the car is in motion.

If you don't have ML in your IS then you don't need SL2Vi-P4, all you need is SL2Vi. Give us a call, we might extend Group Buy until Friday this week.

The only feature that will be grayed out is list of files and folders. This is Toyota safety precaution, and your CD changer works the same.

But you can still browse your iPod while the car is in motion with steering wheel control and radio controls.

I just received SL2Vi but have not opened it, the sales rep expressed concern that it may not be compatible with my 2002 G430 with ML and Nav, I asked him to clarify before shipping, also asked a question in this thread about rearview cam and gave year and model of car so am I to assume we are good?

Installed my xm unit in 02 GS430 ML. It sounds absolutely amazing over the tape input method. Clean and crisp sound. The integration into the stock touch screen is pretty slick.

how come none of the information shows on the screen? i was wondering why that is.. for some reason i thought that it was supposed to show.. any thoughts or information? 07 gs350 non ml..

How did you program the unit? Do you have a MFD or just a standard radio display?

i think it is mfd? what does it stand for? when i play my cd mp3's, it shows the info of the files and i can move within folders.. i tried to do the install several ways, mp3 emulation, md emulation, and cd changer.. the cd changer was the closest thing that i can work with..
