SL2Vu-P4 is package 4 for SL2Vu, required for some models. You can see whether or not it's needed for your car in the application guide on our website. Let us know if you have further questions.

SL2Vi will do that, it'll integrate your iPhone into your radio and will allow you to playback audio files as well as video. It has a 5V charging adapter included in the kit that will enable you to charge your iPhone 3G as well.

For the 2002 LS430UL (Nav+ML), does the SL2Vi allow iPod control via the nav touchscreen, or is control only done through the steering wheel and head unit buttons? If an iPod video is playing and I want to use the touchscreen for GPS navigation, do I just push the Map or Destination buttons? Does the audio keep going even though I'm looking at a map, or does the iPod pause? If it pauses, what is the procedure to resume iPod video playback where it left off?
For the 02 LS430UL, does the disc button cycle through CD->MD(iPod)->DVD(iPod Video) or does it cycle through playlists on the iPod?
Also, is there a solution for controlling an iPod AND adding 1 non-controllable external stereo RCA + video source?
Does anyone with my LS430 generation have video in motion (accidental or otherwise)?
Thanks!

If iPod Video is playing and you push Map, it'll go to map and will continue play Video, unless you pause it on the iPod.
It will cycle CD->MD(iPod)->DVD(iPod Video). Once you select the source you want, then you can make further media selections.

SL2Vi will serve your application, it will integrate your iPod Video into your Nav. You don't even need 5V charger for this older style iPod. But it'll be in the box anyway in case you buy newer 2008 and up iPod model.
