Yes they are true to the color temp. In person the 6K are a very white light with a small amout of blue and NO yellow like the OEM 4300K. The 8k do tend to be more blue in color.
My best advise is if you want better performance then go with the 6k. If your going more for looks then 8K would be color temp to go with.
