So you do not have a product that works inline with the FM transmitter that supports text via RDS? Oh well...thx anyway.

Just installed SL2Vi in my 04 LS430 UL this week. Connected to iPod Classic, 120 GB. Audio wise everything works great. It's like adding an additional hard drive while keeping controls on wheel and audio system. Enjoy not having to hit the "I Agree" button at every start-up.
However, I have spent hours trying to determine and document a sequence to play videos while not in motion. I have followed the manuals instructions to the letter. I can get the video to play some of the time. Just when I think I've got the proper sequence down, it will fail to play when I try it again. When I get the screen with the "1 DVD-Video" button it is not always in the green state. Hitting it may change it to green, but when hitting it again, I will get a black video screen but it will be playing music from my playlist. Have tried setting the iPod to playing the video and then turning on the ML. Even then doesn't seem to work. It seems to be just a hit and miss proposition as to whether it will sense and play video.
Does anyone have a detailed step-by-step procedure on how to play video for a set-up similar to mine?

You can get SL2Vi in your car, it'll give you iPod integration and capability to play videos from your iPhone on your nav screen. Just keep in mind since your car doesn't support text it will not show any.
