I have personally tested these with a 4GB card and they have no issues.

The HERO from GoPro is a compact camera that is capable of video recording, multi and single shot still images and timer still image capture that is perfect for those of use that enjoy documenting our antics on the road.

It does not have a remote capability, but it does have a single shot interval mode, where it will take shots on a timer and repeat. So you can mount it remote and get a picture every 2-5 seconds.
