$45 for that little metal piece? I have the same battery but for $45 I'll stick with my oem.

Yes unfortunately machining 6061 aluminum and anodizing it does cost money. But I can understand where you are coming from.

Agreed. But it coast money for custome piece and I think these looks pretty cool. I can see in the near future someone posting up asking "where can I get one?" LOL.

So it comes with the insert where the tie downs are right?

I got a yellowtop and though the stock one works this piece is pretty sexy.

Yes this reuses the stock J bolts and washers, fits right over the top. It does require the use of the spacer (came on your battery unless you threw it out) that attaches to the bottom.

I'm not near my car now so I can't take pictures. But the battery is in the stock location just like how it is from the factory. Same size and dimension as the factory battery. I guess if you just google search for the MKIV supra engine bay pictures, you'll see what I mean. It's right behind the driver side head lights.
