whats the difference between the sirius and xm satellite ? i looked on sirius website and you can get the xm from them?
and the SL2xMT for xm is $234.99
SL2s for sirius is $199.99
and the SL2xMT for xm is $234.99

Difference between XM and Sirius is their channel line up and different packages they can offer, it can be all found on their websites.

2004 GS430 Mark Levinson w/ Navigation
With the SL2i-UP I can control my Ipod Classic with the steering wheel control on my 2004 GS430 Mark Levinson w/ Navigation? And will it charge the Ipod and will text show up on my nav screen? Thank you.

With SL2i-UP you can control iPod with your radio/nav controls and with steering wheel controls and it will charge all new and old iPod models. But you are not going to be able to display text on your nav, because this year nav doesn't support it.

VML is what I would eventually want, as I'm not interested in tying the system to some specific model of iPod which may or may not eventually become incompatible in the future. I'm more comfortable with a general USB-Drive system, but the price is still a bit much to justify for me. Will look at again when pricing is closer to $200.
