I have a 7th generation ipod classic and an iphone 3g. I want to play videos off both units, so I'm guessing that the sl2vi is the unit for me but I have a few questions.

I have the ML and nav, so I'm guessing I would run it in mp3/cd emulation mode. Is 999 the limit of songs that can be in the playlist, or will the correct number of the track just not show up if it's playing song 1200?

Do I need to use a charging adapter to get the sl2vi to work with my ipod/iphone? I'd like to minimize cluter and excess adapters in my console if possible.

If you would like to play video and audio through your radio and nav screen then you do need SL2Vi. If you have nav and ML package on your IS then you need to get SL2Vi-P4. IT will be programmed in CD-MP3 emulation and you will be able to get expanded browsing as well as unlimited amount of songs. Just keep in mind that once you cross 999 songs, it will display last three digits only, meaning song 1560 will be displayed as 560.

SL2Vi will come with 5V adapter, which is need in order to get your iPod charged.

I'm interested in purcharsing the SL2Vu, and I have a few questions.
I have a 2002 LS430 with NAV, but the NAV unit was broken, and now disconnected. Will I still be able to use SL2Vu to display video? If so, my car will use package #7, is this correct?

1. Will the SL2Vu work in addition to the SoundLinq (VML) that I already have in my 07 GS350?

2. Is the SL2Vu compatible with 2010 RX350 w/ Nav?

1. It hasn't been tried. But I don't see why not.

2. SL2Vu is not compatible with 2010 RX 350. We are working on the solution for Video for 2010 Lexus models.
