Ken,

Thank you for your help. There is no hurry on the groupbuy for supra kit. Currently I have my eyes on an used Supra and I'm in a huge dilemma between luxury (my GS430) and sporty (supra). So sad that some of modification available in Japan can be hardly attained in U.S. I may quit GS and move on to another project car that has wide variety of mod available in U.S.

I think the stock Lexus pads work great. There's barely any brake dust and they grip well.
My biggest problem is the UUUUUUugly surface rust on the stock rotors. Will these replacement rotors develop that same problem over time?
Thanks

gs4to4,

The rotors in this deal are Silver CAD plated so they will not rust.. Thus part of the appeal with this package.

RA,

No problem dude.. Let me know what you end up doing.. My little brother is looking at a GS or maybe a WRX and he is torn between the two at the moment..

2Savvy: I notice in those pics that Hi98GS has the SupraTT calipers...will those fit on the stock GS size rotor, or are those rotors larger than stock?

Thanx for clarifying

Nope you need the larger rotors to use the Supra TT Calipers.. But the stock sized rotors look exactly like the ones on HI98GS's car but an inch or so smaller.. Hope that helps!

Default I'm in

Thought I'd reply that I'm also IN on the Supra brake GB. I've been corresponding with Steve for quite some time (before the GB started) on what I want to do for an upgrade after I got my new wheels... He advised me to wait a little and order along with the group.

Wanted to know the details of the supra brake deal. Will this work with my stock 17' rims. Has there been a firm GB price established if not any guess on the final outcome.

The current brake deal package "non supra TT" is about $530. From what I been reading and hearing it's only a slight improvement over stock, so I rather wait and spend a little more and get a better quality brake deal with superior results.

Sorry, stock 17" rims will not fit the Supra upgrade. Wheel spacers won't work either.

You'll need a wheel application that's designed to fit the Supra TT. Having the correct offset does not guarantee a fit.

Default The last day to place our order is June 30th, right ?

I'm in for the GS/Supra Upgrade set of 4, but I'm waiting until the 29th to place my order. If I do it any sooner, my AmEx card bill will show up with the charge on it the following week.

I hate when that happens !

Ok gentlemen.. Steve sent me the Supra TT Caliper pricing so if you want to create a Supra TT Upgrade you can do that too.. Just add up the parts you wish to get and fire Steve off an email or call..

Re-read the very first post again in this thread.. As always any additional questions will be handled by Steve Ganz.. Should get the stock GS package soon so pictures will be forth coming!

OK, I'm in...tried of the freakin' rust on the rotors everytime I wash my car I had planned on getting the Supra upgrade later on when I could fit it in the budget but I think the GS upgrade will be adequate and seems like a great deal. I'll contact Steve right away.
