Lake Country 5.5" Hydro-Tech "Thin" Ultra-Fine European Foam Pads




You asked for it, so here they are! Lake Country's European foam technology in 7/8" thick Hydro-Tech Tangerine, Cyan, & Crimson Polishing Foam Pads. This foam is non-reticulated, or closed-cell which means less product absorption, and less air flow through the pad. This makes these pads perfectly suited for use with water-based polishes because the products don't dry as fast allowing for longer working times.

There is an advantage using the thinner pads in the way the pad actually moves; or in the case of the thinner pads, doesn't move. These thinner pads have less inner motion, or spring in the pad because of the thin composition. These pads have been asked for by the pros who do "cutting edge" paint correction using dual-action or orbital polishers.

The Hydro-Tech Cyan Advanced 7/8" Cutting/Polishing Foam Pad is a moderate to aggressive polishing/cutting pad designed for moderate to severe defect removal while still finishing to a high-gloss, nearly mark-free finish.




The Hydro-Tech Tangerine Ultra-Fine 7/8" Polishing Foam Pad is a moderately light polishing foam that will remove compounding marks and typical swirl marks will finishing to a hologram-free finish.



The Hydro-Tech Tangerine Ultra-Fine Polishing Foam Pad is slightly less aggressive than the Lake Country Orange Power Pad but more aggressive than the White Polishing Pad while producing a finish that is near equal to the Black Finessing Pad. These pads are designed for use with light to moderate cutting polishes.

Hydro-Tech 7/8" Crimson pads can be used with your favorite cleaning or light cut polishes to deepen the shine and gloss of your paint. With the right polish, you could remove swirls, and finish the paint ready for your final protectant. Use the Hydro-Tech Crimson pads to apply glazes, and even liquid sealants.




These 7/8" Hydro-Tech Foam Pads have the same advanced properties as the Lake Country Flat Pads with the curved edge for easy panel transition and hook and loop backing. They also feature the cut-back edge to keep the rough backing away from your work surface. The hook and loop backing fits perfectly on a 5" backing plate.
