the 4300 kit only comes with the xtc kit and not the jl kit? I'm really looking to pick up 4300k and not 5000k.
Yeah we don't carry the 4300K for the JL, the only difference between the 5000K and the 4300K is that the 4300K contains a small hint of yellow, where the 5000K contains a small hint of blue. They are both mostly white.
We're actually removing the 4300K for the XTC soon, the demand for 5000K-6000K range seems to be much greater than 4300K, that and many users do not like the hint of yellow in the white.
Can you tell me what's covered if I spend the extra $25 for the lifetime warranty? I mean, hypothetically, if the bulb goes 5 years from now is that covered or is that considered a wear and tear item?

Everything is covered from the bulb down to the wiring to the ballast, 5 years from now if it burns out we'll replace it free of charge.
