What’s up guys? With all the Sikky headers and IS-F exhaust installs we have been doing recently, sourcing out a quality, high flowing catalytic convertor was the obvious next step for a complete package. After numerous tests and real time dyno comparisons we have come to the conclusion that Random Technology Cats are the best option on the market. Not only are they reasonably priced compared to other race convertors, but they will out flow anything we have tested. One of the members of this community, Caymandiver, had us run a before and after dyno for his test pipe to RT High Flow Cat install. The results were amazing. His horsepower and torque curves were practically identical with and without the cats. The catalytic convertors were doing their emissions job, while still flowing and producing the same amount of horsepower as a straight pipe.

With the Lexus IS-F, the cats need to be welded into the mid pipe of the exhaust right after the header. The frame rails make the install such a tight fit that J-style oxygen sensor bungs are required. We will be selling a Lexus IS-F High Flow Cat Package that includes two Random Technology 2.5” High Flow Catalytic Convertors and two J-style oxygen sensor bungs for proper installation. If you don't feel comfortable welding them in yourself we offer a service that takes care of the work for you. Just ship us out your mid pipe and we will fabricate everything up accordingly and ship you back a completed product ready to be bolted on. Random Technology makes all sizes, but we regularly stock 2.5” and 3” diameter convertors. You can also purchase the convertors separately in any diameter of your choice.
