you guys should buy it, pure white. best bulbs out there. make sure you guys get the 6k and not the 5k, i seen the 5k before. they look close to stock 4300k. i couldn't wait for the group buy last time so i just went ahead and order it for $299 5 months ago. good luck! nigel does take a long long time to response back just so you guys know.

The only thing I'm worried about is if they will make the LED DRL's on the 2011's look dull/yellow?
Currently, the HID's and LED's look very close in color -- but what about those who have changed to 6k LED's? Do your HID's now look more blue or look different than your LED DRL's?

When you use 6000K HID, you would be able to tell the color difference between the color temp differences between the HID and LED.

I had a opportunity to buy some used Philips Ultinon 6000k bulbs from a member that said he bought them from you, Nigel. When I met him up and inspected the bulbs, some things threw me off. I was led to believe the return wire should be blue/purple, have reddish salts in the arc chamber, and say something about not for use in Euro and Usa. These bulbs had a brown return wire, white/yellowish salts in the arc chamber, and said Xeneco. Looked very much like my stock Phillips 4300k bulbs. Guy said they were indeed the 6000k bulbs that came in the box. I didn't feel comfortable they were legit Phillips Ultinon 6000k bulbs, so I thanked him for his time and went on my way.
Nigel, not saying you sold those to him, but what do you think?
