Ron..
i think it is because we just had a GB on breaks not too long ago. but this one is very interesting, esp the dimple design. i guess we just need a person to step up and start organizing again for another GB. Getting 5 min is def not a problem..for the price, as i mentioned is worth a try...
personally i would like to combine this with the Wilwood caliper that Pearlpower is road testing on regualr daily basis as we speak.

William,
Great minds run in the same direction, or something like that. Just keeping my fingers crossed that the Wilwoods fit under the stock 16s. Like I said previously, the only dimpled rotors I have found are the EBC and they are only fronts so all four for 280 seems like a buy. As of right now, I believe the four piston Wilwoods are being developed using the stock rotor and that is fine with me. Guess we will just have to wait and see. Great fun this.

I am interested in these but I won't be able to get some for a month or so. Just dumped money for my kit. Santa Ana is close to me too, I live next door to Santa Ana in Irvine, like 2 mins away.

Last night, I saw a set of "Raceconcepts" on an Eclipse, (surprised I actually found someone with a set). Guy had them on the front only and they were on the car for a few months now. I saw some rust, not much, and nothing compared to my stock rotors, but they're definetly not rust free. That SUCKS!!!He said the braking performance has improved, but brake dust increased as well. I forgot the brand of pads he was using, but he said they were the semi-metallic type. So, they're OK, but do NOT prevent rust. So where are we going to get rust free rotors from now?

gs4to4 - There just is no rust free rotor. The zinc or cad plating is more for looks than anything and it does wear through. About the best you can do is paint the hat section (not the actual braking surface) and live with the rest. If these come through for this price, I will look at having someone professionally paint them. Then just live with it. As far as dust is concerned, almost always due more to pads than anything. I have the EBC Greenstuff on my wife's Maxima for about three months now and they are just about as advertised, almost no dust. Might want to try them if the dust is an issue.

personally i can live with some minor rust on the rotors...from the prices posted, i could certainly give them a try. also besides EBC, i think Bendix makes a good pad too, if i am not mistaken...

I was looking on Groupbuycenter and they have these rotors, i think they are the same, for 65 dollars a piece.
here is the link

Edit: Sorry, these are from a different company. They are IRotors. Don't know anything about them, but they are located in Santa Ana also.
