Zinc plated rotors $260, group buy????
The company's WWW.RACECONCEPTS.NET
The rotors fit the GS and the IS. All 4 for only $260!
They're zinc plated, cross dimpled and slotted.
The dimpling vs. the cross drilling is a better concept because it gives the same performance and looks like its drilled, but it prevents the rotors from cracking. Zinc plating should protect rotors from rusting even better than cad plating. Raceconcepts said they need 5 people for the $260 group buy price.
Does anyone know about the company and their quality?
You guys think these will rust just like all the other rotors out there?

Just want to add:
I don't want to start a group buy. Just passing along some info about a good offer and I wanted to find out what people think about the company and their quality.
If all is good, I will buy a set for myself though.

gs4to4,
If you want to do some leg work and get some more info from the company i'm sure Ethan (Static911) would entertain a group buy.. Maybe email raceconcepts and let them know you are a member of Club Lexus and would like more info on their products.. I'm sure they would be more than happy to provide that if they see the upside of getting their rotors on a few members cars..
Nice find!

Rotors.
I'm interested, find out some more info.
If it is at all possible I'd like to hear from
somebody who actually has this kind of
rotors on their car already. Good find though.
Let us know how it goes.
I'm from CT myself so if you need me to help you
with anything, just give me a holla on this thread
or via a PM.
Holla.

Ok, I called them again
Front rotors are Bradi (from what I know, this is a very good thing) and the rears are Raybestos (this part, I don't like too much, but on the other hand its a big company so they can't be the cheapest on the market either, and besides, they're only the rears...

Rotors.
Guys, I did some research last night.
I believe gs4to4 said, "Zinc plating should protect rotors from rusting even better than cad plating." That is not necessarily
true. The protection is about the same, in some cases cadmium
outlasted zinc, but those were extreme cases, when the test
unit was sitting in salt water for a while. Cadmium however
has some environmental issues that zinc does not.
Just wanted to give you guys some background on what
we are about to buy. Sounds good to me so far.
Regards.

Hey,
Since they are located in Santa Ana, anyone care to drive over there and snap a couple of pictures for us on those rotors.......
I would interested for $260........ On the other hand, Steve G. is offering $299 for some good rotors as well......decision, decision.......
