Couldn't have said it better myself. Forget the dyno. Unless you're going to run the dyno in a wind tunnel, a 0-60 or 1/4 mile run is probably the easiest way to test this thing. I'm hoping for the best...

I love my ISSForged products I have so far but I agree I would like to see some more information and pictures as well.

 

I wonder if the air being pushed (up) by these scoops will put stress on the hood's latch (at high speeds of course).

Juanca I doubt the hood latch is that weak. I went up to 160 and nothing flew off the car so I think we are good on that!

There are rubber seals that would fail before the pressure got to the point of lifting the hood.

So Looking through my grill and looking at the picture of the scoops as well as the first picture, I can pretty much picture how it would install and how it would route air to the current stock air scoops. Makes sense now that I looked at it. Looks like we might have to relocate the horn for it though.

So starting with this


And if you look instead you can see mounting points where the horn and other various things attached. Sorry my pic is not that great


Here is a better shot, I red square the area that has screws, and it looks like those would be the mounting points.

Instead of having air being pulled through those slits. You have the scoops push air up making the intake do less work?
