I did something similar to this to my E55 this weekend
This part was really hard to come by and i waited a long time for it to come in
This is not my E55 but my friend's Craig's up in ATL. (I have the same setup, just didnt take pics after install)
Buckhead imports built this car.
TTM was the manufacturer.
On a NA car you will see improvements on the track, but I dont think you will see anything on the dyno.
My car is supercharged, so really these only aid in high speed runs. I don't anticipate any improvements in mileage either as the SC in my car is already feeding pressurized air into the motor.

thanks for chiming in and you gota come by the shop soon to say whats up!
you're absolutely right in saying that this will help at the track and on the highway (i would say at speeds 40+ mph) to help funnel cold to where it needs to be
we are currently looking for a dyno facility that has high speed fans as this will help in seeing the performance gains of the intake scoops
