ML Plus has all of its functions available while the car is in motion, so you won't even need a nav hack for it.

I was under the impression that the ml plus still did not unlock the OEM in dash DVD player.

ML Plus doesn't unlock any of the factory features, but it has all of its feature available while in motion.

Does the ML Plus work with a 2012 ISF? Does it have AV inputs to use the car's screen as an external display for iOS5 devices such as an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S? Thanks.

ML Plus is fully compatible with 2012 ISF model. It has 2 A/V inputs, 1st is used for iPod Out and iPod Video Out functionality and 2nd is universal. If you have jailbroken iPhone or iPad and can enable Video Out then you can display it on the A/V 2 right on your nav screen.
