Well, I believe sometimes people need to be nudged into experiences that they will enjoy, I try to be the sacrificial lamb and hunt down companies that have the same passion about these cars as I do or make the things I would if I had the time.I take them for a test drive, usually ordering one or two parts. If they pass our test on first article single part orders that is the real decision-maker. Only after that process do we offer anything for sale. I think its a pretty good system .

PPE is a great company to deal with and I am sure that you guys will be happy with these.

Mike

I may have a sickness....I don't have my IS-F yet, and won't for a few months....but this deal is a very hard pass. Hopefully I get in on time for a free shirt. Not worried about when mine would be produced since i don't have the car....Don't judge me.

If it doesn't work out you can always use them as "wall art" haha.

I have talked to J.C.Damion at JM lexus in South Florida and he will extend the same installation offer as the other GB.

Target price of $650 +Tax (not including incidentals like if your O2 sensors are fused on and require replacing).
Free Loaner car since they are a part of JP Lexus. Just talk to JC and mention you need headers installed as part of the clublexus FIGS Engineering GB.

Also I am working on contacting the rest of the shops that have PPE installation experience. If you live in:
CT
WA
IL
or Ontario Canada
Shoot me a PM and I can direct you to them.
Thanks Mike

The more I read these threads the more I am leaning towards the ppe headers over the sikky headers. I found a shop in Atlanta that can install it so I may have to get in on this deal. Stuff is just so expensive for this car it's crazy.

It's all relative.
My buddy has an M5 and is beside himself right now. Says he wishes he could get such a great deal on headers. Dinan headers are much more expensive for his car.
Cheap DSM people pay around $1000 for a tubular manifold that is 1/3 the amount of material, less fab work to make and built in larger quantitys.

Mustang or GM 5.7 headers are built by the thousands so that drives the price down on those parts.

There are only a limited number of ISF owners out there and fewer buying headers and still the price is very fair. I would say these headers are a bargin.

That being said.....you should get a set of PPEs

Many thanks for organizing this group buy, Figs. I'm in for a set of headers.

I suspect many other users shared my sentiments about being indecisive about ordering headers due to competing group buys for headers being offered at the same time. In the end, I chose PPE because judging from photographs and testimonials from other users, PPE makes a more refined product and not to mention the t-shirt.

That is awesome Mike. What would really be a hat trick is if you can finnagle a similar deal for an install in the Seattle area.
