It's used to lubricate the supercharger. Self-lubricating system can avoid oil spilled out in the engine bay, keep it clean and free from carbon deposit.

so is this supercharger legit? the website keeps asking me if i want to gain 5-7 mph on my fastball

Sorry, we don't have kits available for IS350. Our piping all made by mode, and we don't have IS350 here in Taiwan, so we are not able to do fitment.
