Hello! I’m having issues with my Lexus, I’ve had it for five years and no issues and absolutely loved it. About six months ago, it started lightly shaking when you’d press the gas pedal, so we replaced the spark plugs and it stopped for a month and came back. Replaced the spark plug holders, stopped then started back again, the only code it was giving was misfire in cylinder 2.

we cleaned the ERG Valve like 6 weeks ago and it helped for a time, then my coolant was low, replaced it, and now everything is back with a vengeance. It also sounds like water gushing occasionally at the brake pedal when I brake? The shaking happens almost every time I start the car up, and now three weeks later, I’ve had to refill the coolant again.

I’m at a standstill of what to do. I really don’t have $3-10k to spend on trying to diagnose what might be wrong. I still owe $8k on the car and it’s got 155k miles on it. Should I just cut my losses and try to sell it?

If you don't want to dump any more money into it, take it to a CarMax and have them give you an cash offer first, that way you have an idea of how much it's worth and I think you have a week to think about it.
