Love the shape of the headlights.
I'm goint to go out on a limb and predict most sporty Lexus front ends are going to have these same vertical air intakes around the fog lamps. Started with the latest Prius, refreshed Camry Hybrid, and now this. Would look perfect on the next IS.

"Competition" figures...
- Audi A3 [1.8 TFSI - I4 FSI Turbo (158 hp)]
- BMW 120d [2.0 I4 (175 hp)]
- Volvo C3 D5 [2.4L I5 (178 hp)]
- Mercedes Benz CLC [1.8 S4 (181 hp)]
Thats if they use the same engine from the HS

whatever it is, looks very different from Auris, wider, longer front bonet (to fit bigger engines?).
It is low number production vehicle, it will never be all new, all platforms share something anyway.
It does remind me of Impreza a bit... just million times nicer. If they manage to make front look like it, it will be really nice.
I am all for Japanese cars looking Japanese, and that thing looks like it will eat Euros for breakfast :-)

As much as the average joe won't notice these things, really wish they did a better of job of trying not to share any design cues. You have the real lights of the Sequoia being exact replicas of the GS, the blue halo around the company badge for hybrid cars, tail lights that aren't flush against the body (works on the FJ but not really a fan of it elsewhere), etc.
