As suspected, looks better in real-world photos than the press photos. Should look even better in real life.
I suspect the chrome trim was left off for cost reasons, as well as to give it more of a sporty look.
Even the stock 17" rims look better in these real-world pics.
This design gives great hope for future Lexus models. I like the direction they're going in .

A chrome strip is a small thing. What I'm wondering is why it doesn't have a panoramic moonroof, like so many compact hatches in Europe have. I'm not saying one should be standard, but usually at autoshow premiers the top of the line model is shown and it's evident that the vehicle shown has no moonroof whatsoever.

Seems like a likely cost in Canada. Slightly cheaper than the IS and about the same price as a comparable Prius. In Canada you have to get the Technology package to get leather seats in the Prius and that brings the price of the Prius up to $37,395 CAD.
