The wheels really don't do this car justice.

I'd like some wood somewhere in the interior, but there doesn't seem to be a good spot to put enough of it so that it doesn't look cheesy

^^ since the interior is really more on the BMW side, I would say the best place to put it would be in front of the passenger, and a giant slab ranging from the driver to passenger dash where the aircon controls are

Agreed. I'd like some on the center console leading up to the AC controls, but all the buttons would make it look patchy unless you just outlined it but that would look plain cheesy . Guess you can't ask for too much on an entry level hatch

I really like it in those shots. Love the Euro interior too.

I wonder if Lexus can pull of 50 MPG like the Prius. If so, this thing is going to sell like hotcakes. With a drop, some bigger wheels, what a wonderful DD this would be.

Edit..

Wow, the Prius only weighs 3000lbs..I thought it was heavier.

I don't think it's going to get 50 unless they have new tech that 's going in. With all the additional stuff they're going to put on the car to help insulate it from road noise and give it a more solid feel, it'll drop. If it gets a combined 45 I'll be happy

The new photos are great, but it looks like it is a bit lowered to me.

No price set yet, but it's set to compete against the likes of the A3 TDI so I would expect it to start ~$30k and go up to between $35 and $38 loaded

Just want to be sure again...this CT is NOT the Lexus version of Toyota Auris?? Damn, they look so much alike! If Lexus can keep the price down, then this is a pretty good car, unlike the HS. BTW, with the CT out, who will buy the HS?!! Why would one buy the HS over this? The CT looks better than the HS too.

I guess I'm a bit North American centric when I was thinking about pricing They probably won't do a straight conversion but it looks to fall within the $30-$40k USD ranges most folks are looking at. We just have to wait and see how low the more basic model goes for in the US

Americans typically don't like hatches or wagons so I can see why the HS would continue to sell. I like this car because I like hatches and I think it's significantly better looking than the Prius and HS.
